Our Expanding Mission

Our mandate began simply: To equip and support local law enforcement in order to fight the tidal wave of smugglers and criminals pouring into our community. When we began our work, other rural agencies began asking for help in writing grants and proposals. It soon became apparent that there was a dire need for the entirety of rural South Georgia. Now, as we grow, we are looking to expand our work - not just to the issues in our own backyard but to helping other rural communities access the funding and support they need to take care of their own. Grants for fire fighting, historical building preservation, infrastructure improvements - we need it all! Most counties do not have the resources to maintain basic function efficiently, much less the ability to hire professional grant writers or advocates. We hope to help solve this problem as we continue to fight for the safety and security  of our homes.
